Imagine waking up in tiny sleepy town surrounded by a stunning mountain scenery, so silent one can hear every pin drop, nourishing body and mind with a variety of yoga practices, going on a walk along a waterfall or even a hike in the surroundings forests if you want to, or simply lounging with a book, allowing the body to fully rest and the soul dangle, away from daily life’s to-do lists.
This is an invitation to just BE, with yourself and others, away from your usual surroundings, truly recharging over a full moon Easter weekend without devices – taking the opportunity to disconnect to reconnect.
IN BLOOM is an offline yoga retreat held in Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland, created to cherish the opportunity to tune in deeper in your practice during this spring transition, like nature coming back to life, this is an invitation to call in abundance and transformation within ourselves again, while fully expanding our awareness into present, your surroundings and the people around you.
DETAILS
WHERE: The offline yoga retreat will be held in the little village of Osco, located above 1100m over sea level in the Leventina region of Ticino, Switzerland. The scenic bus ride up the mountain is already an experience for itself, setting the tone to an arrival in a completely different world, especially if you live in a busy city. Our sanctuary for the weekend will be a rustic, yet newly refurbished lodge with all modern amenities, which formerly was just a simple barn. A private chef will take care of us providing vegetarian brunches and dinner, while a snack bar is available throughout the day if needed. Osco can be comfortably reached by public transport within 2:45h from Zurich main station. You will be provided the ideal train itinerary/route to pick to ensure the timely arrival to the retreat one month before the retreat takes place.
THE PRACTICE: The retreat will start with an opening circle and a yummy full moon Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing practice to celebrate the pink full moon. This name is attributed to the pink wildflowers, like phlox, that bloom in early spring, symbolizing completion, abundance, and transformation. The next two days are followed by energizing Hatha Yoga morning practices and a Yin Yoga and Sound Vibration session the second evening. All retreat sessions will be designed to go hand in hand with each other, facilitating full opening and receptiveness for body, mind and soul.
FREE TIME: In between practices and our meals, the time is yours to explore. You can design your day as needed: no matter if it’s a walk around town, taking a short bus ride to a stunning waterfall enjoying the surrounding hiking trails, joining others, staying in journaling, lounging or reading a book.
