About this Event
Join us for our iMusic Summit on Saturday, February 7th, from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM at Clark College! A dynamic, hands-on experience designed for middle and high school students interested in music, sound, and creative technology.
Students will explore the fundamentals of sound engineering and music production, including using Ableton Live, MIDI controllers, mixing techniques, and sound creation. Through interactive workshops, participants will collaborate, experiment, and create. End the day with an original 30-second music score or audio project for a website, video game, or personal use.
The Summit features small-group workshop rotations, allowing students to engage deeply in hands-on, interactive sessions while learning about real-world career pathways in the audio and music industry.
What Students Will Gain:
· Hands-on experience with music production tools
· Exposure to careers in sound and audio industries
· Creative collaboration in a college-campus environment
· A finished audio project to take home
Lunch will be provided along with a big raffle prize giveaway at the end!
