A chance to explore how language, physicality and character choices can create improvised Shakespeare.Over five weeks, you will learn a range of techniques inspired by the world’s most famous playwright. Putting these tools together we will transform standard improv scenes into Shakespearean ones.
After the course, there is the chance to perform in a showcase at Midlands Improv Night at 1000 Trades, Jewellery Quarter.
These sessions are aimed at people who are comfortable performing improvised scenes, though no knowledge of any particular Shakespearean sonnets or plays is required.
