So, you love Salsa and want to learn more, fantastic! Continue your dance journey with our improver Salsa classes.What to expect
This is a 8-week course in Linear Salsa partner-work.
It is expected that participants know their Salsa basic steps.
All movements taught are intended for the social floor.
The course includes a warm up to counts and music followed by a partner work combination.
As the course progress the classes will become more challenging.
To get the most out of the course, attendance to all lessons is recommended.
Each lesson is one hour in length, with one class per week for 8 weeks.
The classes are rotational, so you do not need to bring a partner.
Time: Thursday evenings 7pm
Dates: 22nd August to 10th October 2024
Venue: St James Church, 82 Nixon St, Hamilton East
What to bring
A water bottle and a warm layer for after class.
Please keep in mind our venue does not have food, so if you are coming straight from work etc tuck
a snack in your bag.
What to wear
No black soled street shoes, sneakers, boots, heavy or grippy shoes.
Dance shoes are highly recommended. Please see our teachers if you need advice on footwear.
Ladies, well-fitting heels are recommended, but not essential.
Cost:
Casual pricing $10 per class, or $60 for the full course.
Concession cards – want more of a dancing fix! Combine this course with another and save!
8 x lessons or 1x course $60
16 x lessons or 2 courses $110
24 x lessons or 3 courses $150.
Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer on the day of attendance.
Parking
There is no onsite parking. Parking is available in the street around the church.
