Enjoyed the Wednesday Cuban Salsa class and want to learn more? The Improvers Cuban Salsa course builds on the Wednesday classes and is suitable for those with some knowledge of Cuban Salsa.
Over the 8-week course, we will be focusing on leveling up basic moves, putting them together to make various combinations for the social floor.
A mix of Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino will be taught, with a focus on Cuban Salsa dancing.
Dates: Tuesday evenings 2nd September to 21st October 2025
Time: 6.30–7.30pm
Venue: St James Church, 82 Nixon St, Hamilton East. On street parking only
Cost, $10 per person per class, or buy a concession card and save.
Concession card prices 8 x classes $60, 16 classes $110,
24 classes $150.

What to expect
These classes are suitable for those interested in improving their Cuban Salsa. Anyone new to Cuban Salsa may join the course within the first 3 weeks. After that, out of fairness to those attending, the course will be closed off to any new beginner dancers.
What to bring
Please bring a water bottle, snack, and warm layer for after class.
What to wear
It is recommended that dancers wear clothing that is easy to move in and breathable. Please no black soled street shoes or shoes that are hard to balance or move easily in.
Ladies, heels or flats are fine, but please remember to put heel caps on your Latin heels.
