Hooked on bachata but finished with the beginner course? Fear not, we have more classes to whet your appetite.This 8-week course aims to teach fun movements for the social floor, through connection and musicality.
All classes are rotational so there is no need to bring a partner.
What to expect
This is a progressive block course, so each lesson builds on the one before. To get the most out of it, we recommend you come to all lessons.
There will be 8 one-hour classes.
Time: 7.30pm Tuesday evenings
Dates: 20th August to 8th October 2024
Venue: St James Church, 82 Nixon St, Hamilton East
What to wear
No black soled street shoes, as these mark the church floor.
Please wear shoes you have good balance in. No stilettos, sneakers, boots, heavy or grippy shoes.
Proper dance shoes are recommended.
Please see our teachers if you need advice on footwear. We do have a few pairs of shoes for sale.
What to bring
A water bottle and a warm layer for after class.
Cost:
Casual pricing $10 per class, or $60 for the full course.
Concession cards – want more of a dancing fix! Combine this course with another and save!

24 x lessons or 3 courses $150
Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer on the day of attendance.
Parking
There is no onsite parking. Parking is available in the street around the church.
