About this Event

THE WORKSHOP

Presence is when your thoughts and actions align—and performers who have it radiate an effortless magnetism and turn every “fumble” into a gift. It’s the foundation of great improv and a more fulfilling life imo. Audiences can feel when you’re not fully here, and so can your scene partner. In this workshop, you’ll train the skill of being present and learn how to enjoy improvising even with someone who ISN’T fully present.

THE INSTRUCTOR

Florence Friebe is a comedian/actress/singer/Victorian ghost who can be seen performing regularly with Asian AF, Cereal Mascots - the Armory's current longest running house team, heard on 2CurlyHairedGirlswithADHD podcast, 700% with Sounds Funny, and seen performing in Brody Went Missing a road trip comedy play which won SoHo Playhouse pick in the 2025 Lighthouse Series Festival. She has been entrenched in the NYC comedy scene since 2012 and has been spotted sitting in your spooky attic window.
