We bring you 4 x 3hr workshops that dive into the delightful world of improvisational theatre.
Our international teachers bring decades of experience performing and teaching across 4 continents.
Each class will include:

- Topic deep-dive: mix of solo, pairs, group exercises
- Scenework & performance skills

About the Characters workshop:
We'll cover a variety of techniques and exercises designed to help participants develop rich, dynamic characters for improvisational performance. This will include physicality, voice, emotions and status. We will explore how to create believable characters and integrate character relationships.
A few key aspects of character:
- Backstory: Developing a character’s history, motivations, and relationships.
- Point of View: Establishing a distinct perspective or worldview for the character.
- Consistency: Maintaining character traits and behaviors throughout a scene or performance.
About the Integrating Silence workshop:
Ahhh, the art of non-verbal communication in improvisational performance! This workshop will help participants develop skills in expressing ideas, emotions, and stories without using words. Silence is golden, and we'll look at how to make silences feel rich, rather than awkward.
A few key aspects of silence:
- Pacing and Timing: Understanding the rhythm of silent scenes to maintain audience engagement.
- Non-Verbal Communication: Developing a strong sense of awareness and communication without words.
- Support and Trust: Building trust among participants to support each other’s choices in silence.
- Commitment: Fully committing to physical choices to make them believable and engaging.
About the Space & Mime workshop:
Develop the ability to convey stories, emotions, and characters through mime, enhancing overall improvisational skills. We'll explore creating and developing shared spaces, consistency of object work, and how to mix the verbal and physical to create a believable world.
A few key aspects of Space & Mime:
- Space & Object Work: Defining and manipulating imaginary space and objects to create believable environments.
- Visual Clarity: Ensuring actions and movements are clear and understandable to the audience.
- Creating Atmosphere: Using physicality to suggest different settings and atmospheres.
About the Teamwork workshop:
This workshop is designed to enhance the collaborative skills of participants, emphasizing the importance of working together effectively in improvisational settings. We'll cover various aspects of teamwork, communication, and support in improv.

- Role Flexibility: Being willing to take on different roles as needed for the benefit of the scene.
