About this Event

Improv For Teens is a 6-week introductory improv course designed to help high school students build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork through games-based, collaborative learning.

This course prioritizes emotional safety, inclusion, and participation, making it suitable for students of all experience levels — including those who may be shy, anxious, or new to drama-based activities.

Through games-based improv activities, students will:

  • Build confidence speaking and participating in groups
  • Develop strong listening and communication skills
  • Learn how to support and collaborate with others
  • Practice creativity and adaptability
  • Become more comfortable trying new ideas without fear of being wrong
  • Strengthen teamwork and social skills they can use in school and daily life
