About this Event
Improv For Teens is a 6-week introductory improv course designed to help high school students build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork through games-based, collaborative learning.
This course prioritizes emotional safety, inclusion, and participation, making it suitable for students of all experience levels — including those who may be shy, anxious, or new to drama-based activities.
Through games-based improv activities, students will:
- Build confidence speaking and participating in groups
- Develop strong listening and communication skills
- Learn how to support and collaborate with others
- Practice creativity and adaptability
- Become more comfortable trying new ideas without fear of being wrong
- Strengthen teamwork and social skills they can use in school and daily life
