About this Event
Improv for Lawyers is a fun, fast-moving workshop filled with on-your-feet exercises designed to boost the real-world skills every attorney need in and out of the courtroom. Youโll practice listening actively, thinking quickly, and communicating with clarity and confidence in a supportive, energizing environment. Plus, you'll earn 3 CLE credits since this is an accredited non-legal subject matter event! Indiana Supreme Court Office of Admissions and Continuing Education Course #382878.
This isnโt a lecture or another Zoom webinar. Itโs an engaging, interactive experience that strengthens your presence, professionalism, and adaptability whether youโre handling tough clients, arguing a case, or navigating everyday conversations, or trying to come at problems with a new perspective. You do not have to be funny or a performer, but you will have fun!
The course was developed by instructors, Michael Murphy (the lawyer one) and Mike Marbach (the improv one), and has been offered multiple times at Duke University Law School.
