ABOUT THE CLASS
Perfect for those with prior improv experience, this 8-week class builds on foundational improv systems to strengthen the structure of your improv practice.
The goal is to help you further explore improvisational tenants, playfulness to strengthen your improv muscles, both on an off stage.
Shiyanbade will pull from her background in
- Short form improv & Long form improv,
- dramatic and comedic structures
- 13+ years of immersion in the world of comedy via improv, sketch, writing, performance, and more!

STUDENT SHOWCASE
There will be a show at the end of class for students to debut their new 5-minute sets! Location and Date TBD, will be scheduled during class per students' schedules.
ABOUT THE CLASS LEVEL
At The Nova Comedy Collective, we call this an ORBIT CLASS - meaning it's perfect for participants who have a foundation of the basics, and are ready to build out your improv toolkit!
ABOUT THE LOCATION(S)
This class will mostly be located at The Cambridge Foundry, in a room called The Black Multi Room. If you head in through the front of the Foundry, you'll see a staircase straight ahead. When you enter, walk forward through the entrance, and look to your right for the door. And if you need help, you can ask at the front table - The Foundry staff is ready to help! ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Shiyanbade is a creative and tech consultant. She enjoys solving complex problems and influencing people positively. She is the founder of KEAJO, a consulting firm primarily focused on solving problems for technical teams, with a unique mix of services and tools that blend technology, art, and education. Also Shiyanbade is a founding member of The Nova Comedy Collective, Via ImprovBoston, Catalyst Comedy, the Women in Comedy Festival, and more. She has performed in various corporate training, resident and indie improv casts. Shiyanbade has worked in storytelling / sketch teams, musicals, podcasts, and video productions. She has directed, produced, and taught various improv casts and has led executive training sessions, workshops and classes for 5000+ individuals of all ages. With 10+ years of formal improv training, she believes that care is its greatest lesson. You can find more of her work at keajo.com.
