About this Event
Patterns help us collaborate. Spontaneous group acceptance/collaboration impresses an audience more than individual cleverness. Pattern work rewards an audience for paying attention and enforces the idea that the show was made especially for them.
In our third level, we explore creating patterns and discovering games to propel your scenes forward. You'll get out of your head and into the show by focusing on your team and what they need.
Prerequisites: Improv 101 and 201. Email [email protected] with questions.
Dates: This class runs Sundays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, starting January 12th and running for 8 weeks. A showcase will be scheduled as an additional opportunity on an evening during the week of March 9th.
Instructor: Harrison Brooks
Harrison Brooks has been with the Coalition for 6 years in productions such as The Movies, Resident Ghost, Hear Me Out, (an unofficial) Taskmaster Live, Me Myself and I, Mer¢hant, AIPW, and more. His teaching style focuses on finding the fun between order and chaos. The goal of the class is to make a team of students come alive together on stage. Get ready to meld your mind with a class of supportive souls, relax, and play!
COST: $250 (Early Bird $220)
