About the workshop:
Throughout this workshop we will take a first step into the wonderful world of improv, exploring concepts such as accepting what's thrown at you, active listening, exuding confidence (even when you don't feel it), character building, creating meaningful relationships, physicality & scene development. In short, how to create something from nothing!
No theater or improv experience needed
Facilitator: Sarah Markowitz
Sarah Markowitz is a professional actress and improviser. She's been acting since the age of 7, and received improv training at The Upright Citizens Brigade Improv Theater in New York City. She’s performed in numerous venues throughout the city. She can be seen in 100s of commercials in Israel, as well as oftentimes in Israeli tv and movies. She believes wholeheartedly that improv is for everyone and can help every aspect of your life!
