About this Event
The housing affordability crisis is one of the defining challenges of our time—and there’s no single solution. It requires a united, all-in approach. Collaboration and investment from private sector employers, corporations, activists, nonprofits, philanthropies, and community members are crucial to turning bold ideas into meaningful action. Together, we can create a more affordable future for all.
Why Attend?
This is your opportunity to learn about the impactful work of Housing Trust Fund Ventura County. In 2024 alone, we dedicated $14 million in funded and committed loans to support the development of six affordable multifamily housing communities in Ventura County—adding to a total of $41.8 million invested since 2013.
During the Annual Meeting, we will:
- Highlight how impact investments are transforming local communities.
- Explore how our innovative Community Impact Note allows corporations, foundations, and individuals to directly support affordable housing while earning a return on their investment.
- Hear firsthand from California leaders as they address the critical question: How can we fund affordable housing when local, state, and federal funds are diminishing? They will explore the role of impact investing and leveraging private industry funding and individual investors to meet the growing housing demand in 2025 and beyond.
Safe, stable housing is essential for thriving communities. Without it, the ripple effects of instability can last generations. Join us as we share the latest milestones, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to how we can collectively tackle housing challenges.
