About this Event

National Inclusion Week takes place from 23rd to 29th September 2024.

To mark the occasion, Effect UK CIC and Midlife360 CIC have joined forces to bring you a roundtable discussion on this year's theme, Impact Matters.

We'll talk about our own experiences and how workplace inclusion focusses around understanding, reflection as well as how we can all play our part.

Agenda:

2pm to 2.10pm = Arrival and refreshments

2.10pm to 3pm = Introduction and discussion

3pm to 3.10pm = Comfort break

3.10pm to 3.30pm = Reflections and action points

As two emerging Social Enterprises, we want to understand more about your challenges in the workplace and thoughts on how we all look at inclusion through our own unique lense. We will be focussing on 5 key questions which we will share prior to the event. This workshop will be a safe space to share, listen and understand.

You'll also be able to find out further information on how to get involved with each of the Social Enterprises. Effect UK provides a support network for businesswomen from ethnic minorities and diverse nationalities, while Midlife360 represents a community of midlife women, empowering them with the confidence, skills and ability needed to thrive in age positive work cultures.

Come and share your thoughts and insights as we take a snapshot of inclusion in a professional capacity, and explore ways to enhance it.
