Learn how storytelling can strengthen your leadership presence, inspire your team, and bring your organization’s mission to life.
About this Event

Great leaders do more than communicate information; they create connections. Led by Liz Warren, Director of South Mountain Community College's Storytelling Institute, this highly interactive experience will guide you through the process of uncovering meaningful stories, shaping them with intention, and delivering them in a way that resonates. At a time when technology is accelerating communication, storytelling remains a distinctly human skill that builds trust, reinforces culture, and creates lasting impact. You will leave with practical tools to use storytelling in everyday leadership moments, from motivating teams to helping people connect to the vision and mission of your organization.

What you will gain:
  • Techniques to uncover and craft authentic stories that align with your leadership style and organizational goals
  • Strategies to use storytelling to build trust, strengthen culture, and engage teams
  • Practical approaches to apply storytelling in real workplace scenarios, including communication, change management, and team development

Presenter, Liz Warren:

Liz Warren, a fourth-generation Arizonan, is the director and co-founder of the South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. A nationally recognized storytelling educator, her textbook The Oral Tradition Today: An Introduction to the Art of Storytelling is used at colleges across the country.
