About this Event
Join us for an intimate roundtable conversation, The Tensions Within: Navigating Contradictions in Pr*son Arts Work, prompted by Julie Rada. Julie is a theatre artist, educator, and scholar who has worked in Pr*son-based arts for over thirteen years, founding programs across Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and Mississippi’s death row.
This roundtable is open to anyone interested in this work, whether you are actively teaching the arts (or other subjects) in Colorado’s prisons or jails, or simply curious to learn more. Participation will be capped at 30 people to ensure everyone has space to contribute and engage in meaningful dialogue.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Additional details, including more information about the roundtable topic, directions and parking, and the event schedule, will be shared with all participants upon registration.
