About this Event
imPAC-t 2025, presented by the Meharry Medical College Physician Assistant Sciences program and student body, is the premiere one-day event for undergraduate students, especially those who identify as underrepresented in medicine. imPAC-t 2025 aims to expose students to the PA profession. This event provides insight into the PA profession, a day in the life of a PA student, clinical skill exposure, and information on applying to Meharry Medical College's Physician Assistant Sciences Program. This event aims to increase the number of URiM students who matriculate into PA school.
What to Expect:
- Informative Sessions: Learn about the Meharry Medical College Physician Sciences Program, the PA profession, the application process, and the significance of diversity in medicine.
- Hands-On Workshops: Gain practical clinical and didactic skills to cultivate your future PA school application through engaging, interactive sessions led by Meharry PA students.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with current PA students, faculty, and aspiring PA students to build mentorship relationships and expand your professional network.
- Mentorship: Participate in discussions with PA students and faculty who will share their experiences and tips for being successful before you enter and in PA school.
All attendees will receive a signed letter of participation, including hours and details of participation.
