Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing techniques, including centering, pulling, and shaping. Also basic surface decoration methods. Students will create 3 to 5 vessels. In this 3 hour workshop, beginners will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing techniques, including centering, pulling, and shaping. They will also explore basic surface decoration methods and choose how they want their vessels glazed. Class will start with a demonstration followed by hands on guidance throughout the process. Students will create 3 to 5 vessels and select their two favorites for finishing. Your pieces will be trimmed, finished, and glazed by your instructor. Pickup will be available 2-4 weeks after the class.

Instructor Bio
Jack is a Musical Theatre major at Belmont University, has been working with clay for as long as he can remember, starting wheel throwing in high school. He is passionate about the entire creative journey, from shaping raw clay to crafting functional, handmade pieces.
