Hi @everyone! Who would like to celebrate Imbolc together?
Imbolc celebrates the midpoint between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox, embodying the increasing daylight and the gradual return of warmth. It beckons us to witness the tender shoots pushing through the soil, mirroring the inner awakening that unfolds within ourselves. As nature readies itself for renewal, so too do we prepare to embrace the burgeoning light within.
Rachel Summers and I are planning an Imbolc celebration workshop on Saturday 1st Feb, 12pm- 3pm in Sherwood.
What’s involved?
We start the workshop making our altar, crafting origami swans to float with tealights and petals.
Rachel will do a small talk on Brigid and spell and we can set our intentions lighting the tealights in our altar.
There will be a lunch of potato and leek soup and bread.
We continue to craft making St Brigid’s crosses and finish with planting bulbs for you to take home and grow.
We are hiring a space with plenty of parking. There are stairs to access though so please bear this in mind.
The cost will be £20 per person, which is to cover venue hire, insurance, lunch and craft materials.
We need 10 people minimum to make this happen and to book asap please.
PayPal - [email protected]
(Friends & Family option please)
If successful this will be our regular venue and we aim to host monthly workshops and meet ups here.
