About this Event

In this interactive session attendees will be invited to think about the world and our relationship to it by drawing maps of different kinds and talking about how they help us (or hinder!) to navigate the world. Traditionally, pirates used maps to find buried treasure; what treasure will the intrepid philosophers that come along (that’s you!) find during these conversational explorations of ideas, us and the world. And will anyone get lost?!

About The Philosophy Foundation:

The Philosophy Foundation is dedicated to bringing understanding, wisdom, and flourishing to the heart of education for children and adults. Our work revolves around using philosophical enquiry to develop critical thinking, metacognition, and a broader perspective on life. We engage with diverse audiences, from schools and prisons to community groups and businesses, fostering skills that improve both personal and professional lives. Our unique approach helps participants navigate complex ideas through dialogue and collaborative reflection, empowering them to think deeply and act wisely in their daily lives.

About Peter Worley:
