UC San Diego invites you to celebrate our 2025 Illustrious Alumni Award honorees — an inspiring group of extraordinary visionaries whose significant achievements reflect the pride and excellence of the Triton community.The Illustrious Alumni Award is a prestigious recognition that celebrates distinguished alumni who have reached extraordinary heights and represents one of the highest alumni honors at UC San Diego. We are proud to recognize the following Los Angeles alumni: accomplished entrepreneur Ellen Chen ’95, 3D imaging pioneer Ping Fu ’88 and transformative investor Jamie Montgomery ’81. Through their extraordinary work, these distinguished alumni are shaping a brighter future while strengthening Triton pride across our global community.
In addition to celebrating our Illustrious Alumni Award recipients, we will also honor Christopher Siok ’97, battalion chief with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, with a Triton Hero Award. The Triton Hero Award is a special recognition presented to alumni whose courageous service and leadership exemplify the very best of the UC San Diego spirit.
