About this Event
September's meet-up is a rare and valuable opportunity for an insight into the working lives of two Sheffield-based illustrators. We'll be hearing about what useful gems have helped launch their career and how they go about finding inspiration and create their artwork.
All illustrators welcome, whether you’ve been before or not. We’re a friendly bunch!
This month we have Nicole White and Lindsay Pollock.
Nicole White
"I'm Nicole, I'm an artist specialising in bespoke mural design and painting, community art projects, workshop facilitation and storytelling."
Lindsay Pollock
Lindsay Pollock is a freelance cartoonist and illustrator based in Sheffield. In 2019 his first graphic novel "Vanni" was published [New Internationalist / UK; Graphic Mundi / North America; Penguin / India]. Today Lindsay accepts commissions for comics or pet portraits while developing his new comic "Follybrook", slowly. Very slowly."
