We are thrilled to host Illustrator, Fateme Mokhles, for an event featuring her new book: “Rostam’s Picture-Day Pusteen,” written by Ryan Bani Tahmaseb. The book is about a little boy, Rostam, who has recently moved to the US. It’s picture day and he has second thoughts about wearing his pusteen, which reminds him of his father who is still working in Iran, but decides sometimes being brave means sharing your whole self with others. Our event will include a book reading by the illustrator followed by an activity.
