Bike Cherry Chase-Cumberland Neighborhood with Mayor Klein

Come bike the Cherry Chase-Cumberland neighborhood with our very own Sunnyvale Mayor Larry Klein. Here's your chance to exchange ideas about our City with the Mayor. See the parks and schools as you bike the streets our neighborhood children bike.

We will ride a 6-mile loop starting and ending at Sugar Butter Flour Bakery. We will ride past Cherry Chase Elementary School, Sunnyvale Middle School, Fremont High School, Las Palmas Park, and Cumberland Elementary School. After the ride, join the Mayor for self-hosted, yummy cookies and cakes at Sugar Butter Flour Bakery.

We will bike at an easy-going pace and keep everyone together. The route is flat and along quiet streets. This ride is suitable for children, the elderly, and everyone in between. Families are welcome. Note: In order to bike at a reasonable pace, bikes with training wheels are discouraged. Children riding on 2-wheeled bikes or on a seat attached to an adult's bike are welcome.
