Illinois PTA SPOTLIGHT 2026

Spotlight is a joyful celebration of creativity, expression, and student voice. We created it for families to experience together. Centered around a vibrant art display, the event showcases K–12 students’ interpretations of the National PTA Reflections theme “I Belong” across five artistic mediums. Families are invited to explore the artwork, participate in hands-on workshops, and share in a meaningful moment as students are recognized alongside their peers and loved ones.

Gather the entire family and join us in applauding our children's remarkable contributions to the Arts and our community. The afternoon festivities are brimming with excitement:

• Engaging Art workshop sessions, covering a multitude of Reflections' categories.

• A delightful reception featuring light refreshments.

The highlight of the day—a prestigious ceremony honoring:

• Students whose Reflections pieces have advanced to the Illinois PTA State level.
• Reflections students receiving Honorable Mention Awards from the Illinois PTA, along with Special Artists.

• Students whose Reflections pieces have earned them a spot at the National PTA level.

Congratulations to all the talented students whose Reflections pieces have made it to the State level! Their awe-inspiring submissions will be on display during our SPOTLIGHT Event.
