🗓️ When: Friday, July 17th through Sunday, July 19th 2026
📍Where: North of Peoria, IL
We have the opportunity to send 5 currently serving, honorably discharged veterans, Gold Star Family members, or First Responders to Illinois, just North of Peoria to bow fish for Flying Carp with Cpt. Hunter Engelman and Modified Outdoors Bowfishing Charters! The dates for this event will be Friday, July 17th through Sunday, July 19th 2026.
Those selected will meet at a time and location to be determined on Friday evening, July 17th. We will fish Friday night and Saturday night, July 17th and 18th. We will finish fishing late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. We willll have a hotel room for that night so you can go back to get cleaned up and get some rest beforere heading home Sunday.
Lodging, dinners, guide, and fish cleaning is all provided by UVA. We do ask that if you enjoyed yourself and were treated well that you tip your guide/first mate. Travel to and from the event, as well as your Illinois fishing license is your responsibility.
