About this Event
What to Expect
In this hands on session, you’ll create a floral arrangement inspired by the Ikenobo tradition of Ikebana. The focus is on structure, balance, and the relationship between flowers, vessels, and space. Each participant works at their own pace, whether attending solo or with a partner or friend.
You’ll leave with a finished arrangement to take home or gift, along with a way of observing flowers and space that can continue into everyday life.
No prior experience is required. The workshop is held in a small-group setting with limited spots available.
What We’ll Explore
From selecting materials and establishing structure to placing the final arrangement, the instructor will guide participants step by step through the creation process.
What’s Included
- Ceramic vase
- Kenzan (flower frog)
- Fresh seasonal flowers and plant materials
- Tea during the session
- A Valentine’s Day gift: a small round fan.
Flower materials may vary from those shown in images.
