Join us on Thursday, December 11th at the Minneapolis American Indian Center for a special event featuring a catering from Owamni by the Sioux Chef, a celebration of the buffalo, and screening of the award-winning documentary Bring Them Home.Bring Them Home is Narrated by Academy Award-nominated Blackfeet / Nez Perce actor Lily Gladstone and Co-Directed by Blackfeet siblings Ivan and Ivy MacDonald with Daniel Glick. Bring Them Home tells the story of a small group of Blackfoot people and their mission to establish the first wild buffalo herd on their ancestral territory since the species’ near-extinction a century ago, an act that would restore the land, re-enliven traditional culture and bring much needed healing to their community.

6:30 PM - Film Screening followed by Q&A with filmmakers
Please note that RSVP does not guarantee a seat. Entry is free, but seating may be limited due to the capacity of the space. Owamni by the Sioux Chef is catering the event -- There will be food for the first 200 people in attendance. All events take place in the Minneapolis American Indian Center. We encourage you to stay for the duration of the event.
