Kick off 2025 with IIHS Screens, a monthly public film screening series hosted at the IIHS Bengaluru City Campus in Sadashivnagar. This month, immerse yourself in three thought-provoking short films by filmmakers from The Third Eye, a feminist think tank and pedagogical arts platform. These films bring to light powerful narratives exploring gender, caste, and identity, challenging societal norms and sparking deep conversations.

• Khushi’s Roshni (7 min)
  A playful yet profound reflection on how young women navigate digital and real identities, blending make-believe, social media reels, and personal truths.
• Kyaa Hai Ye Samjhauta? (9 min)
  A raw, mixed-media narrative crafted from scraps of cloth and the voices of grassroots caseworkers, examining domestic violence and survival.
• Humare Beech Mein (35 min)
  Shot on mobile phones, this film delves into caste and gender through the personal perspectives of two women negotiating entrenched structures.
