About this Event
Every 2nd Thursday of the month Ignite holds an in person get together. A relaxed environment to meet people in Chelmsford, have a friendly chat and hear talks on inspiring creative & cultural topics. Our bar serves local beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
We are often treated to a short performance or taster from speakers - recently we have had a cello performance, beer tasting, poetry reading and storytelling.

Topic:
April's social is Creating Worlds, where we'll be looking at creative ways to build immersive, unique experiences with the following guest speakers;
Speaker #1: Matt Wilson (He/Him)
Matt runs Gnoll & Void as a professional games master, who creates immersive worlds via tabletop gaming. Having grown up ADHD hobby switching, and with a lifelong love of horror, fantasy and sci-fi, Matt creates brand new stories and worlds for tabletop role playing games, allowing everyone to have a go at exploring the world of their dreams.
Speaker #2: Chloe Jones (She/Her)
Chloe is a prop-maker, artist and designer specialising in all things cute, geeky and spooky. Chloe studied Technical Effects for Performance at the London College of Fashion, which covered a wide range of practical effects skills, including sculpting, sewing, casting, and much more. A big part of the course involved bringing ideas from books and existing worlds to life through props and visual storytelling.
Chloe also owns Mythical Studios, where she designs enamel pins, stickers, bags, and other merchandise inspired by fantasy themes. More recently, she has begun creating her own comic series, Gloop Comics, which follows the adventures of a little dungeon slime.
