ABOUT THE ARTIST
Conceived in the foothills of Colorado by singer, writer and producer Jarvis Anderson, Iglu & Hartly answered the call to California and dominated the gritty clubs of Y2K Hollywood. Exploding onto the worldwide scene in 2008 with their debut album '& Then Boom' via Mercury Records, the album included the global hit single 'In This City' which still commands radio play to this day. Written about these early California experiences, 'In This City' quickly rose to number 5 in the official UK singles chart and charted at number 35 on the US Billboard alternative charts and fans worldwide were captivated by Iglu & Hartly's authentic and eclectic genre bending energy. Equal parts hopeful and bombastic, Iglu & Hartly's unique perch atop the pop rock landscape is backed by the visceral stage presence of front man and consummate entertainer Jarvis Anderson, thrusting the act onto prestigious stages of Coachella and The Isle of White and more.
After a meteoric rise Iglu & Hartly fell into a hiatus until an invitation to reunite and headline the Hermosa Beach Summer Series in 2018 started an avalanche of new material and renewed energy. The band's resurgence in 2020 with Cooler became an LA radio sensation, reaching number one on KROQ for an impressive eight weeks running.
Iglu & Hartly's incredible momentum has birthed new success with the release of the 'Money EP' (2023) which captivated fans and press alike with Fame Magazine noting, "Iglu & Hartly ability to blend genres and create music that transcends time is evident in Money. As they continue to captivate audiences with their infectious energy, the band proves that their unique sound is not just a trip down memory lane but a timeless force to be reckoned with in the contemporary music scene."
