About this Event
Step into the world of clowning — where vulnerability meets joy, and play becomes performance. This 4-week course introduces participants to the fundamentals of clown through movement, improvisation, and character exploration. Each session invites you to embrace authenticity, spontaneity, and connection with your audience.
You’ll discover how to:
- Access your clown’s unique logic, rhythm, and emotional truth
- Develop physical and emotional awareness through games and ensemble exercises
- Explore the balance between humor, failure, and honesty
By the end of the course, students will take the stage in our IFTP Clown Showcase, performing live, improvised clown work under real-time direction, celebrating their discoveries and delighting an audience with laughter, surprise, and heart.
No prior experience required — just curiosity, courage, and a willingness to play.
