We are delighted to share with you the upcoming visit of Tom Holmes to Egypt in May 2026. He will be offering a three-day workshop at the El‑Rakhawy Institute for Training and Research.This visit comes after an absence of more than six years from Egypt. Before 2020, Tom came three times to offer similar workshops, and he has become well acquainted with our community. Through his experience, humility, and wisdom, he has supported many of us in our own inner journeys.
Attendance is exclusively for graduates of IFS Level 1 Official training and all Ben Rivers Diploma graduates.
Below is a brief introduction to the content of the workshop. ✨
IFS as a Path of the Heart:
Tuning the Heart – Healing the Healer
Explore and deepen your understanding of Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the lens of Tom’s 35 years of experience in practicing and teaching IFS at the University and in postgraduate training in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Tom will share how for him IFS is not only a therapeutic method but can be seen as a spiritual path of the heart which has helped him and those in his workshops to deepen their connection to what is essential and meaningful.
Tom will share a wide range of experiential IFS exercises he uses with groups to help people explore and come into a compassionate relationship with their parts, while deepening and awakening access to what IFS calls Self. This will include work with cards, mapping, exercises to embody one’s parts, meditation, and songs. In addition, Tom will also discuss scientific research, especially neurological studies, related to parts, the Self, and the IFS process.
An important goal for the workshop is to help the participants find the healing they need to avoid burnout, find a source of renewal so they are able to offer therapy from a self-led place. They will also have a chance to connect more deeply to their own essence, their truth.

4,000 EGP for participants residing in Egypt, and 400 USD for participants residing outside Egypt.

تأتي هذه الزيارة بعد غياب دام أكثر من ست سنوات عن مصر. وقبل عام 2020، زار توم مصر ثلاث مرات لتقديم ورش مماثلة، مما أتاح له التعرف عن قرب على مجتمعنا المهني. ومن خلال خبرته الطويلة وتواضعه وحكمته، كان له أثر عميق في دعم الكثير من المتخصصين في مجال الصحة النفسية في رحلاتهم الداخلية.
الحضور متاح فقط للمتخصصين في مجال الصحة النفسية من خريجي المستوى الأول من التدريب الرسمي لنموذج Internal
Family Systems (IFS).
و كل خريجى دبلومة بن ريفرز.
✨ عنوان الورشة
نموذج نظم العائلة الداخلية كمسار للقلب- مواءمة القلب: شفاء المعالجين
خلال هذه الورشة سيشارك توم خبرته الممتدة لأكثر من 35 عامًا في ممارسة وتدريس نموذج IFS في الجامعات وبرامج التدريب المتقدمة في أوروبا والشرق الأوسط وآسيا.
ستتضمن الورشة مجموعة من التمارين الخبراتية التي تساعد المشاركين على:
• استكشاف أجزائهم الداخلية
• بناء علاقة رحيمة مع هذه الأجزاء
• تعميق الاتصال بما يسميه نموذج IFS بـالذات ( Self)
ومن بين الأساليب المستخدمة:
• العمل باستخدام البطاقات
• رسم خرائط الأجزاء
• تمارين تجسيد الأجزاء في الجسد
• التأمل
• استخدام الأغاني في العمل الجماعي
كما سيتناول توم بعض الأبحاث العلمية المرتبطة بنموذج IFS، خاصة الدراسات العصبية المتعلقة بمفهوم الأجزاء والذات وعملية العلاج.
