Lady riders, a new biking season is almost here!!! 😍🏍️ And what better way to kick things off than by celebrating the 20th edition of IFRD! 💜✨ Update!
The plan is to ride to Hartland to attend a celebration of life for our dear friend and wind sister, Susan McLeod (aka Bellatrix) 💜. It just happens to fall on the same day… or did Bellatrix have a hand in that?! 🥰
Many of us who knew her will be riding out to attend and then heading home afterward. Anyone who’d like to join the ride but didn’t know Bellatrix is absolutely welcome—feel free to make your own plans to grab a bite while in town. If someone wants to organize a group stop or make reservations, go for it! Please use this event page to plan, connect, and keep everyone up to date 💗
🏍️ Details: Let’s celebrate IFRD 2026, ladies! ☀️🏍️ Rain or shine—bikes or cages—any skill level—all are welcome 😁
📍 Meet-up: Blue Canoe Irving (Fredericton/Oromocto area ladies). There may be other ladies from out of town organizing their own meet points.
🕚 Time: 11:00-ish meet, KSU at 11:30 (Timing may change once we have full details for the service).
🛣️ Route (tentative): We’ll likely take the scenic river route along 105 to Hartland, ending at the Golf Club for the service. Depending on how everyone’s feeling, we may return via a more direct highway route.
