Eileen, who lives with her mother and never completed her studies earns a living as an unofficial taxi driver. When she picks up Shane, an aspiring comedian going through a divorce, an unexpected friendship full of humanity and gentle humour begins to unfold. 
The film was shot in trendy Belfast in Northern Ireland, as well as several coastal villages in County Down.
