Melding J Dilla and DJ Premier inspired grooves with impactful sound design and intricate textures, he endeavors to present a sonic palette that seamlessly combines novelty and familiarity. His musical journey traces back to classical training in his formative years, leading him to Berklee College of Music, where he majored in Electronic Production & Design and delved into Jazz theory. Since 2015, Jade Cicada has graced stages at festivals and venues across the country, showcasing the evolution of his dynamic and genre-defying sound.
