James Braly is the first two-time winner of The Moth GrandSlam and has contributed autobiographical stories to This American Life and The New York Times. His Off Broadway monologue Life in a Marital Institution: 20 Years of Monogamy in One Terrifying Hour was a New York Times Critics Pick. The show spawned a fourteen-city national tour produced by Meredith Vieira Productions, a live audio recording that spent twelve weeks on the Amazon Hot 100 Comedy List, and a memoir published by St. Martins Press. In his other professional life, James ghostwrites speeches and books for executives and entrepreneurs – including a couple bestsellers he’d crow about if he hadn’t signed NDAs.
