Gippsland Pride Festival of events for 2026 are now in full swing and we are pumped!We’re so excited to share something we’ve been working on behind the scenes…
This year for IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination & Transphobia), we’re calling on community to come together, connect, and share space. We’re bringing people, resources, and a genuinely good time into one place to mark the day, and we’d love you to be part of it.
There are a few things happening across Gippsland for IDAHOBIT this year, and it’s great to see the region showing up. This is our piece of it, and we’re putting everything we’ve got into making it a day worth coming along to.
On Sunday 17 May, we’re hosting a major pop-up community event in Morwell at Latrobe Youth Space. You might know the venue for youth programs, but this is a true all-ages gathering. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to be part of the day 💜
✨ What to expect:
• Free lunch (BBQ if weather allows, indoor if not)
• A welcoming, all-weather space to relax and connect
• Activities and goodies for all ages
• Our full gender-affirming OP SHOP!
• Friendly faces, info, and support
You can also connect with the headspace Morwell team about their Pride party (ages 12–25, June 5), and chat with Gippsland Pride about upcoming events, including our Gala on June 13 at Lardner Park.
Whether you’re looking for support, connection, a great outfit, a good feed, or just something nice to do on your Sunday, we’d love to see you there.
This event is completely free thanks to our volunteers and partners. All LGBTQIA+ folks, families, and allies are warmly welcome.
