Defend Democracy ICT, along with our friends from Sedgwick County Young Democrats, Leading Kansas, and other individual community organizers, are coming together to host No Kings Day 3.0 in Wichita, Kansas.Details are still being finalized, but plans include opportunities to march from the North End and from the Federal Courthouse, with groups joining together downtown at Kennedy Plaza. Information about routes, speakers, and special guests will be announced as plans are confirmed.
This action is grounded in a shared commitment to nonviolent protest. No Kings Day 3.0 will be organized around peaceful assembly, de-escalation, and collective care for one another, reflecting our belief that lasting change is built through disciplined, people-powered, nonviolent action.
In 2025, millions of Americans rose up in nonviolent protest to oppose growing authoritarianism and to affirm that this nation belongs to its people — not to kings. Since then, communities across the country have continued to organize peacefully in response to ongoing abuses of power and escalating federal actions.
No Kings Day 3.0 is part of an immediate and ongoing nationwide organizing effort leading up to the next mass mobilization on March 28, including a flagship action in the Twin Cities coordinated by the national No Kings Coalition.
