Ichigo Strawberry Market is a 2 day event this year!! Our favourite time of year when a truck full of Saanich strawberries arrives in Fernwood, school is almost out and summer is just around the corner.
This year we are teaming up the @fernwoodcatwalk and @fernwood_art_stroll as we activate our favourite neighbourhood. On Saturday May 30th is the Fernwood Cat Walk we will be one of the Cat Walk spots on the map to mingle with other cat & strawberry lovers, get refreshments and tasty treats, enjoy handmade Strawberry Daifuku & Sencha made by the local Japanese Chado Tea Ceremony Group in their pop up tea house. There is even a Y2K Photo Booth to pose for ( cats are welcome ) along with 3 Cat illustrators and a pop up tattoo studio outside on the field hosted by Brass Iris with Cat and Strawberry flash!
Then on Sunday May 31st be FLIPPING the market with a whole new line up of Artists!! Whistle & Flute is hosting a pop up ‘ design your own tee ‘ workshop, a K- Pop Dance crew performance, Metís Tattoo Studio outside on the grass, Terrarium building workshops and so many delicious foods to taste your way through at this 2 level market!
