Ice Cream and Docent Led House Tours Noon-3:30 pm. Cash only please for ice cream, sodas, water, and house tours. We welcome anyone who would like to entertain during the event. Details below.The historic house is open from 1-4:00. The docent-led tours are about an hour long and begin when guests arrive. If no one is at the door, please ring the bell. Suggested donation is $4 per adult. $2 (age 7-13) for children. Membership for $10 comes with free tours. Cash Only. No credit cards.
The Shinn family came to California shortly after California became a state. The family had an early nursery and later a fruit ranch. The Shinn House was built in 1876. A docent will guide you through the house and tell you about the family.
