Christina Kotsiomitis, CPA

Focus: The Current Landscape - Mergers & Acquisitions
Christina Kotsiomitis is an Associate with RBC’s Mid-Market Mergers & Acquisitions Group where she works as part of the team’s business development and origination efforts across the organization. In her role, Christina is focused on providing advice to owners of private businesses and RBC partners with respect to planning, structuring and executing M&A transactions in a variety of succession and growth-related situations. Prior to transitioning into the business development side of the Mid-Market M&A team she was on the execution side for three years where she was directly involved in all aspects of an M&A deal. Prior to joining RBC, Christina worked at Deloitte LLP where she led audit and review engagements for a variety of clients. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Business Administration, and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Accounting from Ivey Business School and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

Prem Lobo specializes in the quantification of damages, business valuations and forensic accounting. In 2013, Prem was named the “Top Chartered Business Valuator under 40” by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (“CICBV”) and in 2014 and 2016, he was awarded the Communicator Award by the CICBV.
Prem has qualified and testified as a forensic accountant, business valuator and loss quantification expert in Ontario, Quebec, Jamaica, the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and Bermuda, pursuant to the English Arbitration Act. He has taught accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels at York University’s Schulich School of Business and the University of Ontario and has authored or co-authored six accounting-related textbooks and study guides. Prem currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Business Valuators Institute (CBVI) and Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO).
