icare would like to invite you to attend our Mental Health Forum in Sydney CBD on Tuesday 21st October 2025.
About this Event

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians reported that they had a mental or behavioural condition?

In supporting this statistic and acknowledging that psychological injury is the fastest growing injury type in NSW, icare want to promote greater awareness in creating a Mentally Healthy workplace and a better understanding on how you can support your workforce should they be impacted by psychological injury.

The purpose of this event is to:

  • Provide businesses with advice as to how to respond to allegation of bullying and harassment
  • Assist with prevention and support for individuals within workplaces and your local community

Impacts of a Bullying & Harassment in a business and what to do differently,
Hosted by David Huxley and Ben Neville, icare
Employers have an obligation to prevent inappropriate behaviour toward their staff. During this session we will talk through case study examples of bullying towards staff from 3 different levels – from a senior member of staff; a work colleague and a customer.
We will look at facts of each situation, how the employer responded and the impacts on the business. We will then discuss what could have been done differently to get a better outcome as we share the tools and resources available to support your workers and your business.
During this session we will also provide an update on the proposed NSW WC Legislation Amendment Bill.
