Save the date and mark your calendars for IBT’s annual Halloween production of Dracula. This captivating tale blurs the boundaries between life and immortality, showcasing mesmerizing choreography that fuses ballet, Eastern European folk rhythms, and contemporary dance styles.Choreographed by Vera Altunina, Jerry Tassin, and Francois Serre y Berga, and accompanied by music composed by A. Piazzolla, Gounod, and Enesco, Dracula draws inspiration from Bram Stoker's 1897 gothic novel of the same name, transforming this classical novel into a work of visual art.
Told through the expressive language of dance, music, and captivating performance, this production is a collaborative endeavor involving company members, dancers from the International Ballet Academy, The Houston Ballet, and internationally renowned artists from The Academy of Circus and Variety Arts in Kyiv.
Our mortal audience is invited to wear their finest performance attire for the Exquisite Opening Night Masquerade; the Count might grace you with his enigmatic presence. You don’t want to miss it. The show will run for three performances only on October 26th and 27th.
