We are incredibly excited to welcome Iain Tolhurst of Tolhurst Organic Partnership CIC, a pioneer of organic farming, for an inspiring evening at The Garlic Farm restaurant on 16th June at 6pm.With four decades of hands-on experience at Hardwick Estate, South Oxfordshire, Iain will share practical insights on soil health, fertility-building rotations, and ramial woodchip methods added to green manures that boost worm populations and soil vitality. He will also explore the role of beneficial soil fungi in forming healthy networks, enhancing nutrient availability, and helping crops resist pests and diseases. This is a timely conversation for organic and conventional farmers, students, gardeners, growers and sustainability enthusiasts. Now that synthetic inputs are even more expensive than ever, anything that offers a lower cost, lower carbon solution has to be worth an open mind and a couple of hours?
