About this Event
Join artists Alexander Stubbs and Wes Foster for a hands-on, participatory workshop exploring public space, value, and place. Through creative exercises, collective making, and a group walk, we’ll explore our unique relationships to Scunthorpe’s environment—moving through green spaces, pedestrian zones, and crossing points.
Over the session, you will:
- Work with creative methods including drawing, writing, and photography.
- Discuss new ways of understanding and engaging with public space.
- Grow confidence in your creative practice.
We will meet outside the main entrance of The Pods Leisure Centre at 10:30 am and walk together across Frodingham Footbridge to Church Square, concluding the session at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre with a discussion of the current ARTIST ROOMS Jenny Holzer exhibition.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, as the session will be outdoors and involve walking. This session is suitable for 18+
