Le incantevoli voci dei tre tenori Francesco Fortes, Alessandro Fortunato e Stefano Sorrentino accompagnati al pianoforte, sono protagoniste di un viaggio tra i capolavori dell’opera italiana e della canzone napoletana.
Il concerto si apre con l’esecuzione delle più celebri arie d’opera italiane tratte da Tosca, Rigoletto e Turandot, seguite nella seconda parte dalle più belle canzoni napoletane come “’O sole mio” e “Torna a Surriento”. Se il primo tempo porta in scena l’emozione delle più grandi opere di sempre, il secondo coinvolge gli ospiti con l’entusiasmo e il vigore della terra di Napoli. Un concerto variegato, dinamico e appassionante.
Il tutto si svolgerà in una delle location più prestigiose della città di Varese: il bellissimo Salone Estense di Palazzo Estense, gioiello settecentesco ed espressione della grandiosità ducale.

SALA ESTENSE - PALAZZO ESTENSE
Il Salone Estense (noto anche come “Salone d’Onore”) è una delle sale più nobili e scenografiche di Palazzo Estense, dimora voluta dal Duca Francesco III d'Este nella seconda metà del XVIII secolo e oggi sede del Comune di Varese.
Situato al piano terra, presenta un imponente camino in marmi policromi, realizzato da Antonio Buzzi, sormontato dal ritratto del Duca. Le pareti e il soffitto sono arricchiti da finte architetture illusionistiche dipinte da Lodovico Bosellini e un grande medaglione centrale affrescato da Giovanni Battista Ronchelli, raffigurante Giove, Venere e Amore in omaggio alle nozze reali.
Oggi il salone è impiegato per cerimonie ufficiali, conferenze, concerti e matrimoni civili.

The enticing voices of the three tenors Francesco Fortes, Alessandro Fortunato and Stefano Sorrentino, accompanied by piano, offer the audience a spectacular journey through the masterpieces of the Italian opera and the Neapolitan songs. The concert opens with the performance of the most famous Italian opera arias from Tosca, Rigoletto and Turandot followed in the second part by beautiful Neapolitan songs like “’O sole mio” and “Torna a Surriento”. The first part the three tenors will bring on stage the eternal emotion of the greatest opera ever, while the second part involves the spectators with the enthusiasm and vigour of the land of Naples. A varied, dynamic and exciting concert.
This extraordinary event takes place in one of the most prestigious locations of Varese: the majestic Salone Estense of Palazzo Estense, an eighteenth-century jewel and expression of ducal grandeur.

SALONE ESTENSE – PALAZZO ESTENSE
The Salone Estense (also known as the “Salone d'Onore”) is one of the most noble and spectacular rooms of Palazzo Estense, a residence commissioned by Duke Francesco III d'Este in the second half of the 18th century and now the seat of the Municipality of Varese.
Located on the ground floor, it features an imposing fireplace in polychrome marble, created by Antonio Buzzi, surmounted by the portrait of the Duke. The walls and ceiling are enriched by fake illusionistic architecture painted by Lodovico Bosellini and a large central medallion frescoed by Giovanni Battista Ronchelli, depicting Jupiter, Venus and Cupid in homage to the royal wedding.
Today the hall is used for official ceremonies, conferences, concerts and civil weddings.
