How embedded will artificial intelligence be in our everyday lives by 2035? I, Robot imagines a future where intelligent machines operate under strict ethical rules. Until those rules are put to the test. Though released in 2004, the film raises timely questions about trust, responsibility, and how much decision-making we should delegate to AI, particularly in healthcare.Following the screening, a discussion and Q&A will explore the film’s relevance to contemporary AI in health and society, examining ethics, autonomy, accountability, and the continued role of human judgment and compassionate care.
