In the rapidly evolving landscape of AI, standing still is not an option. According to the World Economic Forum Global Risks Report 2024, the world’s biggest short-term threat is AI’s potential to "misinform and disinform" if used by "bad actors”.

This highly interactive half-day workshop for managers and senior leaders will provide you with an opportunity to have a constructive conversation about harnessing the potential of Generative AI (GenAI) while navigating complexities, risks, and ethical dilemmas your organisation faces in AI integration. You will leave with a deeper understanding of AI, practical tools for implementation, and the opportunity to increase your network of like-minded professionals.

Some of the topics that will be explored include:

· The paradox of AI - promise and perils.

· Synergising human and artificial intelligence: a blueprint for augmented intelligence to aid decision making and increase productivity.

· Communication protocols with AI: crafting effective prompts for tools like ChatGPT and Copilot.

· Safeguarding corporate integrity in the age of AI: protecting your organisation from information leaks and “bad actors”.

· Oversight and governance: your organisation as a connected system in establishing robust AI monitoring frameworks, including AI policy.

· Crafting your AI roadmap.

This is the first of a series of constructive conversations workshops in London provided by the University of Southampton Business School. These workshops feature guests from industry and academia and are designed to enhance the dialogue between industry and academics bridging the gap between theory and practice on areas of growing importance to organisations.
